BIAFRA GENOCIDAL WAR

(1967 - 1970)

 WHAT CAUSED BIAFRA GENOCIDE? Biafra Genocide which is often referred to as Nigerian Civil War occurred within a period of three (3) years (July 6^th, 1967 –  January 30^th, 1970) and was caused by the hegemonic British Government using General Yakubu Gowon and others as basic tools.

Many sources on the internet today has published several articles claiming the war was a political-ethnic armed conflict caused by the attempted secession of the provinces of the south east of Nigeria, mostly populated by Igbo people, under the name of Biafra Republic however, all these sources are false. This falsehood originated during the time of the genocide because the Biafra Republic had no media to report the truth and the whole world had to stick to the reports from British Media who instigated the genocide.
