AUGUST HARVEY

Captain Martin volunteered to fly food/relief material into Biafra during the Biafra Genocide. While trying to land his Lockheed L-1049G Super Constellation on the Uli Airstrip at night, during a tropical storm, he was killed in a crash with his wife, actress Gladys Martin.
